About me

My name is Remus and I'm an illustrator for all artworks concerning books - from cover to chapter headers and character illustrations.

Raised in family of artists, I've been drawing traditionally since I was a small child and digitally for seven years now. My love for literature lead me to a Bachelor's degree in German Philology with a focus on children's and young adult literature as well as German as second and foreign language. I'm currently finishing my Master's degree in Gender Studies.

My work as illustrator allows me to combine both of these fields. I work closely with authors to visualize their stories and characters while, simultaniously, increasing the visibility of marginalized people.
